Ne librin “Enriching the Earth” (sic) Vaclav Smil  [(1943 - ) Cek/Kanadez] shkruan: “procesi Haber-Bosch ka pasur me shume rendesi ne boten moderne se aeroplani, energjia berthamore, udhetimet ne hapesire ose televizioni. Pa sintezen e amonias, ekspansioni i popullates se botes nga 1 miliard ne 1900 ne 6 miliard ne vitin 2000, do ishte i pamundur” DBMI e sjell ne origjinal Vaclav Smil, in his book Enriching the Earth, says that the Haber-Bosch process "has been of greater fundamental importance to the modern world than ... the airplane, nuclear energy, space flight, or television. The expansion of the world's population from 1.6 billion people in 1900 to six billion in 2000 would not have been possible without the synthesis of ammonia."
